Tortoise & Blonde Glasses

Tortoise & Blonde is a New Jersey based eye glass company dedicated to the idea that women and men own multiple accessories, why not own multiple, affordable glasses? Aside from supporting Eye Care 4 Kids, a Utah based iniative to help test and provide low income children with eye wear, Tortoise & Blonde also supports music and musicians, particularly in sponsoring the Pearl and the Beard’s “Raise Your (eye) Glasses” tour. Honestly, any sort of glasses line that offers over 25 different styles under hundred dollars sounds great, particularly to this bespectacled writer. Especially given that the line is inspired by vintage eye wear but designed for the modern world. The glasses above are the Katherine, which are a medium sized tortoise shell with an elongated frame and a hint of cat eye. I am kind of obsessed. My only complaint is I wish there were more styles (but one can’t be greedy) and more bright colors.
